Site Development
The Standish Cote Wind Farm proposal is in the early stages of feasibility assessment. Nothing will be built until all the necessary studies have been undertaken and planning permission has been granted.
Below are the next steps:
- January 2008:
To measure wind speeds, a temporary anemometer mast will be installed on the site - Spring / Summer 2008:
Extensive community consultation period including a report back on the available results from the test mast. - Late 2008:
Possible target for submission of planning application and Environmental Statement to the Barrow Borough Council
